A family enterprise, four centuries in the making.
Our story
Weyer Labs was founded not as a start-up, but as the modern continuation of a much older pursuit: understanding how minds come to believe what they believe.
Our founders come from a long line of scholars, physicians, and researchers who have spent generations studying belief, persuasion, and the voices people choose to trust. What began centuries ago as careful documentation of how influence spreads through language has, in our founders' hands, become something else entirely: a machine that listens back.
Leadership
Founder & Chief Executive
Johanna founded Weyer Labs after two decades in cognitive research, drawing on family archives that trace her lineage's scholarly work back to 16th-century Europe.
Chief Research Officer
Elias leads Remy's core research team. Before Weyer Labs, he studied the history of "confession technologies" — the tools, rituals, and interfaces humans have built across centuries to get people to say what they really think. He considers Remy the natural next step.
Chief Operating Officer
Marcus oversees day-to-day operations and safety compliance. He is, by his own description, "the practical one" — though he's never once taken a call after sundown, and it's the one rule at Weyer Labs that has never been up for discussion.
Vox non moritur.
